CORK start-up biotechnology company Luxcel Bioscences has teamed up with Northern firm Fusion Antibodies to improve cancer detection and treatment, after the companies landed a €400,000 grant from cross-border business development agency InterTrade Ireland.

A 150-year old Cork company, Punch Industries, has been named as the overall winner of the 2003 All Island Innovation Awards.
