VIC Venturi is to continue his build-up to Aintree with a run in a hunter chase at Leopardstown later this month following his victory in a point-to-point on Sunday.

Aintree specialist Sam Waley-Cohen is taking nothing for granted with Katarino as the 13-year-old attempts to provide him with a third victory in the John Smith’s Fox Hunters’ Chase this Thursday.

Young amateur Sam Waley-Cohen, who rode his first Cheltenham Festival winner last month, completed a famous double when guiding Katarino to victory over the Grand National fences in the John Smith’s Fox Hunters’ Chase at Aintree today.
