The rude health of Irish music is to be celebrated at a new rock ’n roll festival. But Music Cork promises to be more than merely an excuse to let one’s hair down and rock out, writes Ed Power.

The organisers of a 10,000 capacity music festival expect it to sell out well in advance after announcing a raft of artists will appear alongside Manic Street Preachers, The Coronas and Sigma.

All roads lead to Donegal then.
