Business Minister Heather Humphreys has said the Mercosur deal “isn’t all bad” for Ireland and that there will be significant benefits for some sectors.

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said today that a transatlantic trade deal with the US could bring more than 4,000 jobs to Ireland.

The Government is seeking to hammer out a lucrative EU-US trade agreement, which could be worth up to €100m to the economy.
