THE hidden scandal of how Irish employers take advantage of foreign domestic workers without work permits has been exposed by an EU study.

AS a result of the European Union’s minorities and discrimination survey published last month, the Garda Síochána has been accused of racial discrimination, because black Africans are twice as likely to subjected to Garda stops as other members of the public.

IRELAND is one of only five EU countries where an increase in racist crimes was reported, according to the EU Fundamental Rights Agency.
