A SUPERMARKET checkout operator has been awarded more than €26,000 for being unfairly sacked after claiming unused value club card points by customers on her own card.

The Special Criminal Court today refused a defence application to discharge itself from hearing the case of a Dublin man accused of membership of an illegal organisation.
