The public’s trust in traditional journalism is increasing and more consumers are willing to pay for quality digital news, writes Alexandra Borchardt.

Trust in all major institutions in Ireland has declined over the past year, according to new research.

More than 65% of the Irish public believe action should be taken against companies that have poor records on issues such as labour relations, human rights, treatment of animals and abuse of the environment.
