LEADING Irish construction firm John Sisk & Son is part of a joint venture to be awarded a €600m rail tunnelling contract in London, which is set to form part of Europe’s largest infrastructure project.

A €600m contract for tunnelling works on London’s Crossrail project has been awarded to a joint venture between John Sisk & Son and Spanish construction firm Dragados.

A consortium including National Toll Roads and Celtic Roads Group has been selected as the preferred bidder for the new N25 Waterford by-pass.
