Music fans are this morning gearing themselves for one last toot on the trumpet as the Guinness Cork Jazz festival enters its final day.

Cork is set to go a little bit New Orleans this weekend as the best jazz musicians from home and abroad descend for a Cork City carnival.

One of Ireland’s greatest blues guitarists was remembered in Cork last night as the Guinness Jazz Festival also kicked off.
