GAA president John Horan has said the hurling and football championships could run into 2021, but Anthony Daly believes that “would be a disaster.”

The GAA’s plans to resume Gaelic games activity via the clubs has been thrown into doubt by a survey revealing less than 58% of players are willing to return to training and games this year.

The GAA have confirmed that their pitches will remain closed until July 20 and there is unlikely to be inter-county games before October.
