A marine biologist with a passion for scuba diving is going deep with a new venture which aims to unlock the underwater tourism potential of Cork Harbour.

Despite a fear of heights, the sky’s the limit for Margaret O’Donovan from West Cork.

An estimated 10,000 coastal rowing enthusiasts and tourists will descend on a west Cork village next weekend for national championship finals.

IT will be “super Sunday” in Courtmacsherry next weekend as the Cork seaside village hosts a county rowing championship and horse racing on the strand on the same day.
