Coca-Cola Ireland has apologised after an advertisement on a website for Sprite caused uproar and was removed by the site which said it should never have featured.

A public bike scheme similar to that in Dublin is to be rolled out in Cork, Galway and Limerick this autumn.

As part of a scheme sponsored by Coca-Cola, 700 bicycles are to be made available to the public in Cork, Limerick, and Galway in an effort to cut down on congestion and promote a healthier lifestyle.

Coca-Cola Ireland today unveiled a new Ireland jersey for the 2005 International Rules Series, as well as confirming their sponsorship of the hybrid game for another two seasons.
