DEVELOPER Thomas McFeely, his company and workers were ordered by the High Court to leave the Priory Hall apartment complex by 6pm yesterday after Dublin City Council sought their removal over a lack of progress in fire safety works being carried out at the development.

PROPERTY developer Larry O’Mahony, who was adjudicated bankrupt in Britain earlier this year with debts of £197 million (€226m) mostly owed to Irish Nationwide Building Society, has lost a bid to be taken out of court proceedings concerning the Priory Hall apartment complex.

FAILURE to complete emergency remedial works at the Priory Hall apartment complex by the end of next month will be regarded as a breach of court orders, the president of the High Court warned yesterday.

THE High Court has struck out a petition seeking to have a construction company of developer Thomas McFeely wound up.
