A bill to legalise gay marriage is being published by the British Government today.

British Culture Secretary Maria Miller today promised no church would ever be forced to conduct a gay wedding as she faced a furious backlash from traditionalist Tories over Government plans for same-sex weddings.

A church disciplinary tribunal in the UK has ordered that a vicar who amassed thousands of indecent images of children should be expelled from the clergy, it was announced today.

A vicar was behind bars today after admitting possessing more than 56,000 indecent images of children.
