An investment group backed by Irish tycoons JP McManus and John Magnier was today reported to be in talks to buy Chrysalis’s radio arm for up to £180m (€267m).

THE two founders of the broadcaster Setanta Sports have netted millions from the sale of a stake in the company to an American investment firm.

Media group Chrysalis hit the right note with investors today after growing radio revenues by 20% since March.
