The courts in Sudan have confirmed the death sentence of Meriam Yahia Ibrahim after she refused to renounce her Christian faith.

A heavily pregnant Sudanese woman doctor who married a Christian man has been sentenced to death by hanging after being convicted on charges of apostasy.
