Bank of Scotland has launched proceedings against a number of investors who were signed up to mortgages by an accountant that they had given power of attorney to as part of an investment vehicle.

FOUR bankers including former Anglo Irish Bank chairman Seán FitzPatrick and its former chief executive David Drumm, are to face professional disciplinary hearings over their role in controversial bank transactions.
