Boxer Hector ’Macho’ Camacho has died after being taken off life support, according to the director of the Centro Medico trauma centre in Puerto Rico.

Former world boxing champion Hector "Macho" Camacho was critically ill in hospital today after being shot in his native Puerto Rico.
