LIVESTOCK farmers require a major bailout in order to liquidate the large stocks of animal slurry that have built up as a result of the dismal summer and autumn.

CORK Central IFA have welcomed a commitment from Tom Parlon, Minister for State, to seek funding for restoration work on the banks of the Womanagh River at Ballymacoda in East Cork.
