The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) says it is investigating potential bid rigging in the procurement of publicly funded transport services in parts of Munster and Leinster.

It isn’t a lack of competition that is causing banks not to lend to small businesses but a lack of funds, the chairperson of the Competition Authority believes.
