Developer brothers Michael and John O’Flynn are suing the Data Protection Commissioner over an alleged delay in finalising their complaint claiming Nama has failed to provide them with all their personal data that it holds.

Cork-based property developer Michael O’Flynn will gain control of around 500 acres of developmental site assets in Ireland and the UK as part of the resolution of his long-running legal dispute with US private equity firm Blackstone Capital.

The High Court will decide next week if it will dismiss an interim examiner appointed to four main companies in the Cork-based O’Flynn Construction Group.

Examinership would undoubtedly be of benefit to the four insolvent Cork-based O’Flynn construction companies and for the benefit of their employees, the High Court has been told.

Developers Michael and John O’Flynn will continue their legal battle in the High Court today against what they call an “improper” attempt by US investment giant Blackstone to take over the O’Flynn Construction Group.
