Fruit and vegetable distribution company Total Produce has reached agreement to sell its 25.3% stake in South African fruit supplier Capespan for €22m.

TOTAL Produce has increased its stake in the South African division of international fruit exporter, Capespan, in a €13 million deal.

IRISH fruit and vegetable distributor Total Produce has kept its half-year dividend for shareholders unchanged at 54c per share, despite seeing pre-tax profits fall by 2.3% to €24.3 million for the first six months of 2009.
