The widow of a 79-year-old man who died as a result of spending 36 years of his working life being repeatedly exposed to asbestos particles has settled her High Court action.

A MAN who died of cancer two years ago was exposed to asbestos over a six-month period 40 years ago and yesterday his family was awarded €190,000 compensation.
