Italian police arrested seven people today in a crackdown on an organised crime group that allegedly tried to buy Lazio football club with laundered money.

DOZENS of alleged Mafia members have been arrested in co-ordinated raids in Italy and New York.

Police in Naples carried out a series of raids early today and arrested 17 people as part of a crackdown on the Camorra crime syndicate in the southern Italian city.
