A High Court judge has dismissed an application by a boatman to allow him land passengers at the Skellig Michael Unesco world heritage site until his legal action against the Office of Public Works has been determined.

The operator of a passenger boat service to Skellig Michael has rejected claims by the Office of Public Works that he has “played down” or “trivialised” convictions he received relating to boat trips to the Unesco World Heritage site.
