ONE of the financial backers of a newly refurbished pub that was picketed by relatives of the Stardust victims yesterday insisted it was never intended to have the premises’ reopening night on the anniversary of the tragedy.

A dossier containing new evidence which may finally uncover the cause of the Stardust dancehall blaze, which killed 48 young people, is to be given to the Government in the coming weeks, it emerged tonight.
