Redundancy costs at the main Irish arm of consumer healthcare giant, Procter & Gamble last year contributed to pre-tax profits decreasing by 9% to €11.8m.

The main Irish arm of consumer healthcare giant, Procter & Gamble almost doubled pre-tax profits to €13m last year, as revenues increased to €92.17m.

WORKERS at one of the south-east’s largest employers, the Braun Oral-B plant in Carlow, have voted for industrial action in a move which could threaten up to 600 jobs at the company.
