A dispute arising over Bank of Scotland plc’s sale to a hedge fund loans of €67m owed to it by a shipping firm here employing more than 300 people has been settled.

The High Court has lifted an injunction restraining Bank of Scotland selling to a hedge fund loans of €67m owed to it by a shipping company that employs more than 300 people.

The High Court will decide today if it is to continue an order restraining Bank of Scotland selling to a hedge fund a total of €67m debt owed to the bank by a shipping firm which employs more than 300 people.
