A motorist was left red-faced yesterday after attempting to drive down a pedestrian walkway at Dunquin Pier in Co Kerry.

He boldly drove where no car drove before and in doing so, unwittingly shifted the limelight from Skellig Michael to An Blascaod Mór.

He was there ALL night.

Mistakes can happen to anyone but you do have to wonder just how this one occurred.
