Soft drinks brands Lucozade and Ribena could be bought by Japan’s Suntory Beverage & Food within days in a deal worth more than £1bn.

Drinks brands Lucozade and Ribena were today reported to be a £1bn takeover target for the owner of Irn-Bru.

Household drinks brands Lucozade and Ribena are set to be put up for sale for as much as €1.1bn, it was reported today.

GlaxoSmithKline has put iconic drinks Lucozade and Ribena under review as it looks for the “best ways to ensure their continued growth”.
