One of RTÉ’s top earners, Miriam O’Callaghan, shared in a bumper 21% pay rise at her media firm last year, with directors enjoying a pay-pot of €204,238.

The media firm owned by RTÉ broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan was back in the black last year after seeing a positive swing of €29,718.

INFLATION might be creeping upwards but RTÉ’s top stars are still managing to stay on top of things — with the likes of Pat Kenny, for instance, enjoying a 7.5% pay rise and earning €849,139 for his radio and TV work in 2006.
