ENGINEERING group Invensys is seeking to raise £500 million through new shares as it battles to rebuild its balance sheet.

E-business platform provider, IONA has entered into an agreement with Baan - a global provider of B2B collaborative commerce solutions and a unit of the Invensys Software Systems division of Invensys.
