An incident on Wednesday where a Ryanair flight was forced to make an emergency descent over the Swiss Alps was the second such incident involving the company in as many months.

THE Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) of the Department of Transport has launched an inquiry into an incident on Friday night when a Ryanair flight had to make an emergency descent and deploy the passenger oxygen masks after the aircraft suffered pressurisation problems.
