Auction records have helped push like-for-like sales at bloodstock sales group Goffs up by €108,000.

BLOODSTOCK sales group Robert Goff has returned to profit, with Goffs chairwoman Eimear Mulhern stating that the group has managed to come through a very difficult period and has now stabilised its finances.

PRE-tax losses at top bloodstock auction house Goffs have doubled to €6.4 million because “wealthy” buyers failed to pay for racehorses on which they bid.
