A postmortem is being carried out today on the body of a 32-year-old man who was found severely injured in the bedroom of the apartment in which his 11-month old son also died.

The outcome of a postmortem will determine the course of the investigation into the death of an 11-month-old baby boy in an apartment in Killarney town centre, the chief investigating officer has said.
