The death toll from a bombing in the Kurdish-majority south-eastern city of Diyarbakir rose to 10 this morning after three more people died from their injuries, the state-owned Anatolia news agency reported.

At least 18 people died and 27 were injured when an earthquake destroyed stone and mud houses in a village in eastern Turkey.
