One of America’s largest airlines has warned that the ongoing delay sanctioning low-cost Cork-US flights could threaten its, and other US airlines’ growth plans.

An association opposing the proposed flights between Cork and Boston took to the skies yesterday as part of their campaign - but a typo brought them right down to earth. 

A strike by Spirit Airlines pilots has shut down the budget carrier, stranding thousands of travellers.
