THE National Assets Management Agency (NAMA) has told the High Court it has “no current intention” to sell properties in Britain and Ireland of developer David Daly over which it has appointed receivers.

DEVELOPER David Daly and his children have taken legal proceedings aimed at preventing the National Assets Management Agency (NAMA) insisting on repayment of their €457 million loans with AIB or the appointing a receiver over properties.

NAMA has won control of some of London’s most prized retail sites, including Louis Vuitton’s flagship store, as it seeks to recover loans made to a developer, a source said last night.

ALBANY HOMES, which is owned by top property developer David Daly, saw pre-tax profits rise by 40% last year.
