Israeli war planes renewed strikes against Beirut’s southern suburbs today and an Israeli missile killed three in the border village of Taibeh, a day after the biggest and deepest rocket attacks yet from Hezbollah.

Hezbollah flew a spy drone over northern Israel today, the Lebanese militant group claimed in a broadcast on its TV channel.

Hezbollah has offered to release some of the Israeli prisoners it holds to win freedom for Palestinians holed up in the West Bank.
