BRITISH Prime Minister Tony Blair yesterday defiantly declared he was right to go to war against Iraq and had not misled the public or Parliament to do so.

A tape recording purporting to be Saddam Hussein calling for an uprising against US and British troops in Iraq was played by two Arab TV stations today.
