US stocks have set more records as investors grow more certain Republicans will pass their tax plan this week.

Apple has failed in its bid to dismiss a US lawsuit that claims it disabled the popular FaceTime video conferencing feature on older iPhones to force users to upgrade. 

New warnings are emerging of a security flaw known as the “Bash” bug, which cyber experts say could pose a serious threat to computers and other devices using Unix-based operating systems such as Linux and Mac OS X.
