AIB has unveiled a three-tiered €250m investment fund focused on Ireland’s rapidly expanding agri-food sector.

CORK-based technology company, Sensl Technologies, has attracted €1.5m in new funding — led by a €500,000 investment by the AIB Seed Capital Fund.

THE €30 million AIB Seed Capital Fund is to be located at NovaUCD, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre at University College Dublin. AIB was one of the founding sponsors that funded the construction of NovaUCD, which formally opened in 2003.
