THE families and friends of Irish victims of the Air France disaster were yesterday coming to terms with their loss after the first wreckage from the plane was confirmed found in the Atlantic.

AISLING BUTLER’S father John said his daughter was “a truly wonderful, exciting girl. She never flunked an exam in her life – nailed every one of them – and took it all in her stride as well.”
