New figures from small firms lobby group, Isme show that SMEs are considerably more upbeat regarding key performance indicators than they were 12 months ago.

The Irish Small & Medium Enterprises Association's survey shows an improvement in the Government satisfaction rating from last year.

Jobs Minister Richard Bruton has today announced a €50m jobs scheme, with the hope of getting another €100m from the private sector.
