TELECOMS firm EsatBT said its revenues rose by 25% in the six months to end September as more consumers and businesses switched their phone services to the British-owned firm.

OVER 17,000 people have taken advantage of new rules governing phone bills since they were introduced in June, the telecoms industry regulator said yesterday.

The GAA and Access telecom have teamed up to provide fixed line telephone services to GAA members and supporters.
