PHARMACEUTICAL giant Elan says it is in talks on the sale of some of its European operations.

ELAN made another step towards its financial recovery yesterday, by launching a bond and equity issue to pay down part of its debt pile.

Pharmaceutical company Elan is to sell four main products and related assets to aaiPharma Inc for $100m (€85m), subject to regulatory approval.
