NURSES in Limerick yesterday staged a four-hour work stoppage against “unsafe” overcrowding in the &Mid-West Regional Hospital’s Emergency Department (ED).

Nurses have welcomed an order stopping Tallaght Hospital from putting patients awaiting admission on trolleys near the Emergency Department.
