Omagh bomb victims will today urge the US government to help them shut down a website linked to the terror group behind the atrocity.

The father of a 12-year-old schoolboy killed in the Omagh bombing today confirmed he had held face-to-face talks with the political wing of the Real IRA.

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has told the Dail that his Government had no contacts with the Real IRA following the 1998 Omagh bombing.

The Omagh bombers should not link their ‘‘vile deeds’’ to the actions of the leaders of the Easter 1916 uprising, Bertie Ahern said today.
