United have announced that Butt has been appointed head of the club's fabled academy.

The club are owned by Gary and Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt.

The Class of 92 were united in mourning at the funeral of Neville Neville, the father of former Manchester United footballers Gary and Phil.
