Galway native Niamh Fahey made a little bit of history on Saturday as the defender became the first Irish woman to win the FA Cup at Wembley after Chelsea Ladies beat Notts County 1-0.

Niamh Fahey doesn’t take unnecessary risks, so when she quit a full-time job to pursue a dream of being a professional footballer it was a calculated move.
